The Second World War Aerial Photo Collection held at LCMSDS has undergone various stages of research over the years by various people. One of those efforts was the plotting of photos based on their included flight paths, and despite a respectable effort by numerous high-caliber researchers, many boxes of photos remain without positive identification in terms of detailed geographic locations. But you can help! We encourage you to use Google Maps to help identify specific villages, towns and battlefields. If you are successful in this endeavor, please fill out this simple form linked at the bottom of this page. We will take a look at the photo(s) in question and reply to you as soon as possible.
