Series Description

Beginning with the Strategic Arms Limitation Talks (SALT – 1969) and the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT – 1970), there has emerged a strong international community that is committed to the control and elimination of dangerous nuclear manufacturing and trade. As a signatory of the NPT Canada has played a significant role in various non-proliferation, arms control and disarmament (NACD) negotiations. Consisting of 5 boxes, this series is the largest in the George Lindsey Collection, and researchers will find a wealth of information pertaining Canadian NACD interests and activities.
