Maritime & Naval

Series Description

Canada’s postwar security interests at sea extend far beyond water operations. The documents in this series describe various threats to Canadian waters as well as Canada’s contribution to international maritime security. The documents in this series suggest that the prevailing Cold War threat to Canadian waters came from Soviet submarine operations in the Arctic. More details will be posted shortly.
